Maestro Luciano Michelini studied at Conservatory of Santa Cecilia with Armando Renzi for the
composition and the famous Franco Ferrara for the musical direction.
Between 1964 and 1982 the Maestro was pianist for the Italian RCA and the CAM.
During this period he began composing film scores and today his music is in more than 30 film and in a
series of RAI’s television productions.
Today, the composer teaches film music at the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music.
The musical style of Maestro Michelini has been compared to famous authors as Bacalov, Nicolai and
Morricone.
