After the score of Porno Holocaust, released by Beat on DDJ series before summer, a new release dedicated to a score composed for the Santo Doming movies by Joe D’Amato, PARADISO BLU (1980) with Anna Bergman, daughter of the popular Ingmar, Dan Monahan (in the role of a “lucky” teen ager), Lucia Ramirez, John Richardson. On the footsteps of LAGUNA BLU, less dedicated to romance and more passionate. The great Roman director availed himself of a great Italian composer collaboration, among the most prolific in Italian cinema scape: Stelvio Cipriani.
The result is a lounge score, silky vocalizations by Edda Dell’Orso and pleasant funky interactions, all remembers us a bit of PAPAYA DEI CARAIBI. A beautiful discovery in CAM catalogue that allowed us to realize a great quality CD, in full stereo of the length of 48:24, totally unreleased! For lover of the music composed for Joe D’Amato movies, the fans of the Maestro and of late 70s exotica, lounge and sweating funky music, a CD you can’t miss!
