A Dream Come True is the first CD by the Spanish composer Javier Quilis
Recorded with the Budapest Symphony Orchestra, with more than 60 musicians, the CD reviews some of the compositions created by the author in the last ten years and new unpublished themes.
Among others, Oscar Senen, an orchestrator of composers such as Hans Zimmer, Lorne Balfe and Rupert Gregson-Williams, has worked on this CD.
The melodic and emotional music tries to inspire a visual image and propose a musical journey through the 12 tracks, being a reflection of the composer's passion for the Seventh Art.
The recognition of his work has earned him several awards at U.S.A., eight nominations for the Hollywood Music in Media Awards in Los Angeles and the bronze medal at the Global Music Awards in San Diego.
Between the different compositions of the disc we can emphasize “Monastery of La Murta”, this track opens CD and it’s dedicated to the monastery of Santa Maria de la Murta and to the city of Alzira, where the composer was born.
Another outstanding theme is “Theme From “Alzheimer””, main theme of the short film "Alz-mer", whose main element is the violin accompanied by the string and other elements of the orchestra.
