Rookie of the Year (1993) is a heroic sports scores complete with Conti fanfares and loads of orchestral fireworks! It’s heroic and fun and is the most requested score of Conti’s work in the 90s.

A Night In The Life of Jimmy Reardon (1988) is a light and very charming score for this coming of age love story from the 80s.

Bushwhacked (1995), when added to Rookie of the Year, turns this CD into something of a tribute to the films of Daniel Stern. Neither a hit at the time nor particularly well-remembered a decade later, what Bushwhacked does have going for it is a wonderfully spirited Conti score that features some adventurous music for the great outdoors.

All in all, this is a must-have for all Conti (and Chicago Cubs) fans. Rookie of the Year makes the release of this CD a major-league event all its own, but when Jimmy Reardon and Bushwhacked are thrown in, it knocks it out of the park.
